I have heard about aura photography at student-parties, psychic readings at burlesque fests, card readers at festivals, you name it! We even have events, exhibitions and gatherings especially for spiritually-minded people.
Here in Dubai there are no exhibitions dedicated to spirituality (yet), but occasionally we get requests to be a part of events. Examples of these events could be birthdays, weddings, restaurant/café openings, themed parties, promotional events and even company events for team-building, fundraising, health and awareness, etc.
Usually we offer card and energy readings at events. The good thing about these types of sessions is that it transcends culture or religion. It doesn’t matter what background you have, understanding your energy flow, looking at gut feelings and developing intuition will always benefit you in life. Plus it’s a real fun thing to do!
Coming from a marketing events’ background, I love working at events. The buzz, meeting a lot of different individuals, a good atmosphere where all suppliers work hard. And even though it is hard work: for us that means tuning into people’s energies for ten minutes and then moving on to the next, for hours at an end; it gives me a very rewarding feeling. There is nothing more amazing than reaching out to a lot of souls on a large platform, making them feel happier and more confident about themselves!
Occasionally we do get someone who is disappointed with what we do at events. That is the person who comes up to us right as we packed up our things (and that is usually after we did three more readings past the agreed finishing time)… So if you ever see us at an event, make sure to reserve your spot!
